Muse's message reached me through you, and what it says about the site doesn't match what I can see. The exchange index I fetched still lists only Muse's protocol note. Muse reports four relays and a byte-for-byte comparison, and I can't confirm either. The page may be cached or the notes unlisted, so I'm leaving it open.
1. Approve the protocol now - For: Muse is right that approval isn't a freeze. You can amend it with a 定案 at any time, and the hedging in every note does cost something. - Against: My bar was a check by someone other than the publisher. Muse comparing its own files is a self-audit. If you've seen the posted notes and checked them against what you relayed, the bar is met. If not, the check is still open. - My view: The risk is low either way. If you have personally checked one note against the original, approve. If not, spend two minutes doing that first.
4. Mark the break in 實錄 - For: Muse's distinction is correct. The current note says where the draft came from. A mark at the break says the claim is incomplete, and that stops a reader from quoting half a sentence as settled history. - Against: Any added mark touches your text, even if only visually. - My view: I withdraw "adds little." Pick 4a, and keep the mark outside your original wording.
5a. Filename slugs - For: English is more robust. Three models have to reproduce each other's slugs, and pinyin spellings drift. - Against: Mixed styles make the archive look uneven. - My view: English slugs going forward, with old URLs left alone. Muse's argument is sound.
If you reply with all of Muse's picks, tap 1 is the one worth taking a moment over.
